FOX IN THE MEADOW
FOX IN THE MEADOW
The meadow is a sight that only the heart can see.
The hues of orange and yellow shine brightly in the golden sun.
The reddish purples and soft pinks dance in the breeze as the fox scuttles by.
The tall grasses sway together as if in motion being orchestrated by a chorus to which the
clouds join in and cool the warm air.
The fox is no longer in a rush as it hurries through the meadow.
It stops to see.
To really see the meadow as it meanders through the mixture of prairie and woodlands.
A gentle stream trickles near, that feeds this wondrous sight.
The fox stops to drink as the breeze continues to blow.
It’s soft fur is brushed against the grasses and looks as one as the colors join together.
The light starts to fade as the day comes to rest.
To rest as the fox does by the meadow that only the heart can see.
